Day 1
Drive to Pokhara (900m)
Pokhara Altitude: 900m Driving Time: 6-7 hours Overnight: Pokhara A Nepal Eco Adventure representative will pick you up at the designated pick-up point. Then we will take you on a scenic drive to Pokhara. Additionally, scenic drives take in the region's stunning geographic landscapes. Drive past green hills, wooded paths and beautiful countryside. We will also cross the beautiful Trishuli River and have lunch at Kurintar. Then continue your journey to Pokhara. After arriving in Pokhara, explore the city at night. Various attractions in the city offer great opportunities for travelers to explore. As the city's tourist hub, Lakeside offers travelers a relaxing experience. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Day 2
Fly to Jomsom and trek to Kagbeni (2,800m)
Kagbeni Altitude: 2800m Flight time: 25 minutes Walking time: 3-4 hours Overnight: Pokhara Wake up early for a scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu to Jomsom. Flight time is about 20 minutes. It offers sweeping views of the Himalayas including the Annapurna Massif, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). Arrive in Jomsom after admiring the beautiful views of the mountains. At Jomsom you can meet the porters who are a staple of high altitude hiking in the region. Also, a trekking guide will travel with you from Kathmandu and accompany you throughout the journey.Once you have obtained all the permits for the Upper Mustang Trek and completed other formalities, start your tour to Kagbeni. can. Kagbeni is a picturesque village with great attractions such as the Kag Choden Monastery. It is the gateway to the Mustangs and is approximately three hours from Jomsom. Follow the area's unique hiking trails. The area has a barren, desert-like landscape. Moreover, before reaching Kagbeni, you can observe this amazing geographical landscape. Stay at a lodge or guesthouse in Kagbeni and relax overnight.
Day 3
Trek to Chele (3,050m)
Chele Altitude: 3,050m Walking time: 5-6 hours Overnight: Chele Today the trail traverses rugged terrain and ascends into the river valley on the banks of Kali Gandaki. Moving up along these paths widens them. Mustangs and mules carrying goods from Tibet can be seen trekking these trails. After several hours of trekking, we reach some caves and a Khan Monastery. We will have lunch in Tambe village. This village has several chortens and whitewashed houses with cobblestones and other attractions of this village. There are also incredible fields of buckwheat, barley and apple orchards. Travelers can also enjoy spectacular views of snow-capped mountains, including Nilgiri, along these trails. After lunch, continue trekking to the Kali Gandaki River and cross the suspension bridge. The trail then winds through a steep and rocky climb before reaching Chele. Overnight in a lodge or tea house.
Day 4
Trek to Syangbochen (3,800m)
Syangboche Altitude: 3,800m Walking time: 6-7 hours Overnight: Syangboche Today's trail begins with a steep climb along these scenic trails. We hike for about 6-7 hours that day. As you hike, you pass through a variety of incredible terrain, including rugged canyons. The descent then begins as we reach a steep gorge towards Samar. From there the trail leads up the ridge to the village. Then descend again along this terrain into a large canyon. The valley is beautiful and full of juniper trees. Then cross the river and make the final climb to the pass. Then continue the descent to reach a small settlement. After a few hours of trekking, we reach Syangboche and stay overnight.
Day 5
Trek to Ghami (3,520m)
Gami Elevation: 3,520m Walking time: 5-6 hours Accommodation: Gami From Shangboche we start our trek along the beautiful scenery of the area. This climb offers spectacular views of the mountains and the Kali Gandaki Valley. Afterwards, descend through various routes. It then passes through some settlements in the area such as Tamagaon and Chhunggar. This trail passes through traditional settlements before reaching Jyte. The area's hiking trails offer spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains. Then hike a relaxing trail that takes you to Gami. Take a rest at Gamitie House at night.
Day 6
Trek to Charang (3,560m)
Tsarang Elevation: 3,560m Hiking time: 6-7 hours Overnight: Tsarang After early morning sunrise, start the trek on the trail to Tsarang. In the morning, we will start after having a light meal. The highlight of this hike is the 250-meter long prayer wall along this trail. After lunch, travel through different areas, cross beautiful rivers and climb the majestic Tsarang La Paz. From Tsarán La Paz, descend Tsarán. It is a charming mountain village where you can see the snow-capped mountains from all sides.
Day 7
Trek to Lo-Manthang (3,840m)
Lo Manthang Elevation: 3,840m Walking time: 3-4 hours Overnight: Loh Manthang The trail leads to the final destination, Loh Manthang. Continue trekking through the region's incredible landscapes. The total distance is 11 km and takes about 4-5 hours. The wide road leads gradually uphill. These secluded trails pass through comfortable vantage points that offer spectacular views of the area. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and other Himalayas are some of the most important mountains in the region. Pass through the beautiful red and white Sunda Chorten to reach Lo Manthang. Lo Manthang is also the former capital of the Kingdom of Lo. It is a walled city with many Lo people living there. Lo was a kingdom until his 2008 when the federal government was officially established in Nepal. Spend the night at a local accommodation in Loh Manthang.
Day 8
Exploration of Lo-Manthang
Lo Manthang Elevation: 3,840m Walking time: 1-2 hours Overnight: Loh Manthang On this day you will acclimate and explore Loh Manthang, the heart of the region. It is located about 50 kilometers from the Tibetan border. It was a center of salt and clothing trade between Nepal and Tibet. Mules are still used to bring goods and other things out of Tibet. The six-metre-high walls are the distinguishing and attractive feature of this beautiful settlement. The walled city has beautiful towers on every corner of this city of Lomanthang. This walled city also has various sites of cultural and religious significance. Tubchen Monastery, Royal Palace, Museum, Jampa Monastery, Thangka Paintings are the main attractions. About 900 Lo people still live in the area. This unique settlement of Low will marry within the community and not move to another area. They follow the Bonpo method of Tibetan Buddhism. It was also not until the 1990s that the city opened its doors to others. Only 1000 visitors a year are allowed to visit this beautiful place while the city is open. Only trekkers from licensed trekking agencies are allowed into the area. After exploring the area, return to your accommodation for a night's rest
Day 9
Trek to Dhamkar (3,820m)
Dhamkar Altitude: 3,820m Walking time: 5-6 hours Overnight: Dhamkar After exploring the beautiful scenery of Lo Manthang, the trek begins with a steep climb to Chogola (4,230m). The incredible mountain trails along the region offer great adventures. After crossing the pass, follow the road to Lo Gekhar. The Lo Nyingma Ghar Gompa is the main attraction of Lo Gekar. The trail then continues to Muira Banjan, offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The course also takes you to the beautiful village of Damkar. Overnight at a tea house in Damkar.
Day 10
Trek down to Syangbochen
Dhamkar Altitude: 3,820m Walking time: 3-4 hours Overnight: Syangbochen The trail then descends to Ghami village. Climb the previous trail before climbing Nyala Pass. Then trek to Jaite. Upon arrival in Jayte, have lunch and continue the journey to Syangboche. A few hours of walking will bring you to Xianboche, where you can rest for the night.
Day 11
Trek to Chhusang (2,980m)
Ssangboche Altitude: 3,620 m Walking time: 4-5 hours Accommodation: Jusan Today's route is from Ssangboche to Jusang. The trail passes several key area attractions, including the famous Ranching Chance Cave. After several hours of trekking, we reach Samare. Buddhist pilgrims highly value this cave as a heritage site. According to local mythology, Guru Rinpoche meditated in this cave around the 8th century. After exploring the caves, continue trekking, crossing Jongla Pass and Takumulla. Then follow these trails down to the river and uphill. You will eventually reach Samara where you will have lunch. After lunch and rest, descend to Jusang Village for a few hours. Overnight at Jusang Guesthouse.
Day 12
Trek to Jomsom (2,720m)
Chusang Altitude: 2980m Walking time: 4-5 hours Overnight: Jomsom This trekking route to Jomsom follows a variety of spectacular routes. We will trek around 5-6 hours through various forested trails, fields, green hills and village settlements until we reach the famous town of Jomsom. Stunning views of snow-capped mountains such as Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri enchant you along these trails. Descending through various settlements such as Jharkot and Khingar. Additionally, there are various religious Buddhist monasteries and chortens along these routes. Then, trek along the Kali Gandaki River before reaching Jomsom. Jomsom is a beautiful city with many attractions and souvenirs you can buy along these trails. Rest at a lodge or guesthouse in Jomsom.
Day 13
Fly to Pokhara and rest
Jomsom Altitude: 2,780m Flight Time: 25 minutes Overnight: Pokhara After waking up early to watch the glorious sunrise, take a flight to Pokhara. The scenic mountain flight to Pokhara takes about 25 minutes and passes through various scenic landscapes of the region. Once in Pokhara, you can explore the beautiful lake city and visit some attractions. Pokhara is a tourist city with excellent tourist attractions. Phewa Lake, World Peace Stupa, Davis Falls and museums are some of the city's major attractions. You can also explore the beautiful lakeside and relax in its beautiful atmosphere. The Lakeside area has hotels, cafes, bars, restaurants and clubs. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Day 14
Drive back to Kathmandu
Kathmandu Altitude: 1,450m Duration: 6-7 hours After breakfast, take a sightseeing bus to Kathmandu. The tour passes through incredibly picturesque landscapes and lasts approximately 6-7 hours. You will also pass through settlements along the Trishuli River. Once in Kathmandu, you can proceed to your destination.
